In which I decide it's time to invent some new Hanukkah songs

I've been performing with Aviva Enoch, both with World music ensemble Mappamundi in the Cabaret Warsaw project and in our own duo (Jane Peppler and Aviva Enoch). Last year we did several Hannukah programs and I kept wishing there were more new songs for the season. I wrote a couple for those shows and vowed to have a new cd ready for the coming Chanukah season. In order to do that, the songs have to be written and recorded before September!
